Gracias al amigo fifobass y su buen blog "Notas del Bajo Mundo" nos llega la noticia de este excelente musico bogotano radicado en New York desde hace 12 años y que en la escena musical latina ha logrado fusionar de forma magistral las armonias del latinjazz con el folklore Colombiano y destacando su instrumento (el arpa) llevandola a terrenos jamas explorados y convirtiendolo en un ejecutante unico en el genero.
Edmar ha tenido la oportunidad de tocar al lado de Paquito D'Rivera, John Scofield ,Wynton Marsalis JLCO, John Patitucci, Pablo zinger, Dave Samuels, Trio De Paz, Giovanni Hidalgo, Ed Simon ,Lila Downs, Janis Siegel ,Chico O'farrill Afro-cuban Jazz Big Band, DJango Reinhardt, The united Nation Orchestra entre otros.
